RPG or board game?
The “Harry Potter Defenders” and “Harry Potter Defenders RPG” searches lead here to one product: Defenders of Hogwarts. MinaLima presents it as a tabletop board game. You play with a physical board, cards, pawns and tokens.
This guide does not establish a digital edition. There is no download or online game to launch here.

One player openly takes the Dark Arts role. The other players represent Hogwarts houses, moving around the board and improving their decks. House players can coordinate, but each is trying to collect two Defence Shields; this is not a shared win for all houses.
The Dark Arts player develops a separate path and tries to bring the required pawns together at a destination after collecting the progress tokens. The roles have different actions and ways to replenish their hands.
This is a rules-based overview, not a hands-on review or a recommendation of the best player count.
Check the stage, not just the date.
The publisher-linked Hive page displays late-pledge tiers. A listing and an estimated delivery date do not confirm current stock or shipment. The campaign FAQ and the Lucca event announcement also describe different retail plans.
Game rules use the publisher’s English rulebook checked on 11 October 2026. Printed page numbers are used throughout this guide; one PDF sheet contains two printed pages. We link readers through the publisher-linked Hive page, where the Rulebook entry is available.
