Checklist storage
The setup assistant uses localStorage in your browser. It records checked step IDs, player count, rules/checklist revision and the time of the last save. A separate selection entry remembers the last player count and revision. It does not store player names, email addresses, hands or a live game state.
Open tabs on the same site share saved checklist changes. Progress stays on this browser and device; it is not sent to a DiceIndex server. Reset progress clears checks for the selected player count. Clear this site’s browser data to remove all stored setups and the last selection. If storage is blocked, the checklist remains usable for the current page session.
Cookies, analytics and external media
DiceIndex uses Plausible Analytics, hosted at analytics.nitortian.com, and Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-1G00WT3PTW) on the production domain. These services receive usage information such as pages visited, referral and campaign information, browser/device information and network requests containing your IP address. Plausible does not use tracking cookies; Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies, including _ga, to distinguish browsers and sessions. We use these statistics to understand site usage. Checklist contents and correction-report text are not sent as custom analytics events. Local development and preview domains do not load these analytics scripts. You can block analytics requests with browser privacy controls and remove analytics cookies by clearing site data. We do not add chat, payment or third-party font services. Product photographs are served by this site. No YouTube player or remote thumbnail loads before you choose Load YouTube player. Following an external source link takes you to another service with its own policies; external links use a no-referrer policy.
Video players use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. Loading a player sends requests to YouTube and its service providers, including your IP address, browser information and this site’s origin as the referrer. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean no data is processed. Playback does not start automatically. Remove player unloads the embedded player; it does not erase data already received by the provider. The Watch on YouTube link remains available if embedding is blocked. See Google’s privacy policy.
Advertising
The homepage includes one labelled 300×250 Adsterra banner. On the production site, the ad code loads automatically from highrevenueformat.com. Adsterra and its advertising partners may receive your IP address, browser/device information, page origin and ad interactions, and may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising. Advertising is separate from our editorial content; an ad is not a DiceIndex endorsement.
The banner is not loaded on local or preview domains or on the setup assistant. Browser content blockers may prevent it from appearing; the guide remains available. See Adsterra’s privacy policy.
Correction reports
The correction form prepares text in your browser. It is not sent, uploaded or saved by DiceIndex. Clicking Copy report uses your device clipboard; clipboard contents may be accessible to other applications on your device. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information.
You can email a prepared report to hello@diceindex.wiki. Your email address, message and attachments are processed by Cloudflare Email Routing and our destination email provider, Gmail, so we can read and respond to your request. Sending email is optional; do not include sensitive information. We use correspondence to handle your request and retain it only as needed for that purpose and relevant records.
Hosting and requests
DiceIndex is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser information to deliver and protect the site. We do not claim that hosting produces no logs.
The analytics services described above are enabled; application log export is not enabled. Provider processing and retention are governed by their applicable terms and policies. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. For privacy questions, contact hello@diceindex.wiki.
